Spring 2023 Workforce System Opioid Webinar Series

About

The Employment and Training Administration announces its series of webinars on the impact of the opioid epidemic on the public workforce system.  These webinars will bring professionals throughout the public workforce system together with partner agencies to discuss innovative strategies and effective solutions.  Presented by U.S Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Office of Workforce Investment, with guest presenters from the field. 
 
What: Seven interactive webinars on serving individuals with opioid addiction and other substance use disorders. 
 
Who:  Workforce professionals at local, state, and federal level, and their partner agencies. 
 
Why:  Opioid-addiction impacts individuals, families, businesses and whole communities. For the workforce system, providing reemployment services and job training to individuals with opioid-addiction and substance use disorder, while meeting the needs of employers, requires awareness, partnerships and innovation. 
 
When: March and May 2023
