About
The application requirements for the Quality Jobs, Equity, Strategy, and Training (QUEST) National Dislocated Worker Grants (DWGs) announced in Training and Employment Guidance Letter no. 2-22 will be discussed at this event. Successful, eligible applicants (states, outlying areas, and Indian tribal governments) will use QUEST DWG funds to empower workers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic by engaging workers and businesses, elevating equity, and connecting job seekers with high-quality jobs.

Administered by the Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (ETA), QUEST DWGs align with the administration’s Good Jobs Agenda to improve job quality nationwide while providing the skilled workforce needed by in-demand industry sectors. Up to $140 million in QUEST Disaster Recovery DWGs authorized by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) National Dislocated Worker Grant program are available with award amounts of up to $15 million. The goal of the QUEST DWG is to enable individuals who have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the social and economic inequities that the pandemic exacerbated to enter, return to, or advance in high-quality jobs in growth industries to improve individual and community resilience to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
