Opioid Dislocated Worker Grants

About

The public workforce system collaborates with health, law enforcement, and social service agencies to combat the ongoing nationwide opioid crisis. Since 2018, the Department of Labor has issued Disaster Recovery Dislocated Worker Grants to address the workforce impact of opioid substance use disorder. These grants provide reemployment services, training for crisis-related professions, and temporary jobs for peer recovery counselors and other public health emergency-related positions.
